Emily Krauser
Board President

Biography
Emily Krauser is the Assistant Director of Research for Thomas P. Miller and Associates, a consulting firm with a focus on nonprofit and community impact. In her position, Ms. Krauser designs and leads community needs assessments, program evaluations for capacity building and organization coaching, and cost benefit analyses. She has her Master's Degree from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. This is Ms. Krauser's second term on the VIPS Board.

Biography
Virren Malhotra has spent the majority of his career working within the international arena for two fortune 100 companies. The first was with General Mills where he ran their Global Business Services India operations as an expatriate in Mumbai, India. He currently is an Advisor at Eli Lilly in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Malhotra is a MBA graduate from Thunderbird School of Management with a degree emphasis in International Management and Supply-Chain. He is married with two sons (Krishna and Ryun) and lives in Zionsville, Indiana. Krishna is a graduate of VIPS Indiana. Mr. Malhotra is a long distance runner and coach. Mr. Malhotra is serving his second year on the Board.

Biography
Dr. Scott Allison is the Chief Operating Officer for Ossip Optometry + Ophthalmology. In addition to being an Optometrist, Dr. Allison has his MBA from Anderson University. He has an established career in both clinical practice and retail and medical operations management. Dr. Allison is in his second term as a VIPS Indiana Board Member.

Dr. T. Rowan Candy
Board Member

Biography
Dr. T. Rowan Candy is a Professor of Optometry and Vision Science at Indiana University. Her research lab has been funded by the National Institutes of Health for the past 15 years to deepen our understanding of the development of the visual system during infancy and early childhood. Her work is at the intersection of optics, neuroscience and clinical care. She also teaches optometry students to work with pediatric patients. Dr. Candy received her degree in Optometry from the University of Wales and her Ph.D. in Vision Science from the University of California, Berkeley. She has been serving on the VIPS Board since 2011.

Rebecca Davis

Biography
Rebecca Davis is one of the founders of VIPS Indiana. Her passion stems from driving her daughter from Bloomington, IN to Louisville, KY every day for critical vision impairment services. Realizing this gap in early intervention for Hoosier children, Ms. Davis successfully advocated for Visually Impaired Preschool Services to expand beyond Kentucky. She now lobbies on behalf of children in Washington, D.C.

Jena Fahlbush

Biography
Jena Fahlbush is the Data & Outreach Specialist for the PATINS Project (Promoting Achievement through Technology INstruction for All Students). Ms. Fahlbush is a passionate advocate for creating accessibility. In her current role, she is charged with spreading awareness about Universal Design for Learning and student access to the curriculum throughout the state of Indiana. Ms. Fahlbush has a degree in Elementary Education from Indiana University. This is Ms. Fahlbush's second term serving on the VIPS Board.

Biography
Jenny Kelly is an Acquisitions Coordinator for Indiana University Bloomington. Her career at the University includes staff supervising, non-profit fundraising and human resources. Ms. Kelley has a Master's Degree in Library Science from Indiana University. Her daughter is a VIPS Indiana graduate. Ms. Kelly is serving her sixth year as a VIPS Indiana Board Member.

Biography
Brian Madison is the Deputy Director for the Department of Business & Neighborhood Services at the City of Indianapolis. Mr. Madison is a community and economic development professional. His background is in real estate development, economic development, and real estate law. Mr. Madison has successfully used public and private funds to redevelop neighborhoods, attract new businesses and create jobs in some of the most challenged neighborhoods in Indianapolis. He was previously the Director of Development for the Indianapolis Housing Agency. He also served as the Director of Real Estate for Near East Area Renewal during the redevelopment of St. Clair Place as part of the Super Bowl Legacy Project.

Mr. Madison has a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from DePauw University. This is Mr. Madison's second term on the VIPS Board.

Lauren McGraw

Biography
Lauren McGraw is the Event Planner for Bluebeard, a nationally recognized fine dining restaurant near downtown Indianapolis. Throughout her career, Mrs. McGraw has trained and developed staff, managed large events, built loyal client bases and conducted public relations activities in a variety of capacities. Her daughter is one of our current toddlers receiving VIPS services. Mrs. McGraw is in her second year on the VIPS Board.

Biography
Zachary Ossip is the Director of Marketing for Ossip Optometry + Ophthalmology, a family business founded in 1952 by his grandfather Kenneth Ossip.  Mr. Ossip has over ten years of experience in the eye care industry. In his current role, he develops sales strategies and marketing plans for one of Indiana’s most known eye care organizations. Mr. Ossip graduated from Indiana University with a Business Management Degree. This is his second year as a VIPS Board Member.

Lisa Poff

Biography
Lisa Poff is the Project Coordinator for the Indiana Deaf-Blind Services Project. Ms. Poff works to improve educational services in Indiana for individuals (birth – 21) who are both deaf and blind, through technical assistance and training. In addition, she has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Law Degree from Indiana University. Ms. Poff has been a VIPS Board Member for four years.

Jason Riley

Biography
Jason Riley is HR Vice President and Global Talent Leader at Allegion, PLC. He designs and leads the implementation of global strategies for leadership development, talent acquisition and Engagement for their enterprise. Additionally, he provides executive strategic partnership to Allegion’s C-Suite, HR Lead Team, and Board of Directors. Mr. Riley graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Computer Science. He has been a member of the VIPS Board since the end of 2017.

Biography
Laurie Roselle is the past president of Delta Gamma Fraternity and is an experienced fundraiser. She is the past Director of Legal Services for Clifford Chance in NYC and served as the president of Liniger Corp. She works with the Indianapolis Delta Gamma alumnae chapter to provide support and volunteers for VIPS Indiana events as they model the DG motto to “Do Good” and assist with the visually impaired. This is Ms. Roselle’s second year on the VIPS Board.

Biography
Brad Sugarman is Partner and Chair of Environmental Law at Bose, McKinney and Evans Law Firm. Mr. Sugarman is an experienced litigator in both state and federal court. He received his Doctor of Law Degree from the Vermont Law School. Mr. Sugarman is a recent member of the VIPS Board, joining at the end of 2017.

Biography
Robin Thoma is a Project Coordinator for the PASS Project at Indiana State University. The Promoting Achievement for Students with Sensory Loss (PASS) program provides statewide technical assistance and professional development for educators that will improve outcomes for students with sensory loss. Mrs. Thoma has a Master’s Degree in Education from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and is currently working on her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at Indiana State University.  Mrs. Thoma is in her second term on the VIPS board.

John Wykes
Board Member

Biography
John Wykes is an Account Manager for Republic National Distribution Company. He works with Kroger to implement pricing and programming throughout the State of Indiana. Has been on the VIPS board since October of 2016. Mr. Wykes is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a graduate of the Kelley School of Business IUPUI with a Bachelors in Finance.
