VIPS Pickleball Classic

Visually Impaired Preschool Services (VIPS) is set to host our fourth annual Pickleball Classic in August 2024 at the Louisville Indoor Racquet Club. This tournament-style event not only allows you to play the fastest up-and-coming sport--pickleball, but you will also help raise critical funds for the children with blindness or low vision that we serve at VIPS. The cost is $60 per person to register and this includes one tournament event. Each additional tournament event is $10 per person.
Here is the schedule for the weekend:

Friday, August 16- The 2024 Pickleball Classic kicks off with a Welcome Party and Open Play Night. Attendees will enjoy complimentary snacks, drinks, and entertainment, including a special pickleball demonstration by Lainie Talbott, a VIPS graduate who has low vision.

  • Free to all registered VIPS Pickleball Classic tournament players, bring a friend for $10.
  • Available to every Pickleball skill level (including beginners).

Become a Pickleball Classic Sponsor

VIPS was the first—and continues to be—the only nonprofit agency in Kentucky and Indiana providing vision-specific services to our unique population of children. The funds raised at this year's tournament will help young children with vision loss across Kentucky and Indiana get the early intervention and educational support they need. By becoming a VIPS Pickleball Classic sponsor, you are investing in their futures. If you'd like to learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Justine Aycock, director of development, at jaycock@vips.org.
