VIPS hosted our first-ever VIPS Day of Giving on June 21, 2024, we are thrilled to share that we raised $43,621! We surpassed our $40,000 goal thanks to your generosity and our matching donors: Louisville Downtown Lions Club, Lexington Lions Club, Steve Deeley, Nancy Cannon, and two anonymous donations! In addition, we hosted VIPS families, volunteers, and donors at our VIPS campuses. It was truly an impactful day and we are grateful for all the amazing support.

Did you miss out on the VIPS Day of Giving in 2024? Don't worry, we will be hosting our second annual VIPS Day of Giving on June 20, 2025!

Why did we choose June for our VIPS Day of Giving? Because we wanted to honor the incredible Helen Keller as she was born in June. She and her teacher, Anne Sullivan, proved that with appropriate accommodations, specialized instruction, and patience--anything is possible for individuals with blindness/low vision.

Every day, our own Anne Sullivan's, the VIPS teachers and interventionists, create lasting change through the critical early intervention services and educational support they provide to children across Kentucky and Indiana. Through this new effort, we want to celebrate the amazing families we serve, our dedicated staff, irreplaceable volunteers, and treasured donors. It will be a meaningful day and we hope you will be a part of it with us.
