The 37th Annual VIPS Golf Tournament, sponsored by Yum!, is a wrap, and we raised about $45,000! The weather was perfect, Wildwood Country Club is beautiful, and everyone had a great time.
We want to thank everyone who made this such a great event. Yum! sponsored the event, and Debbie Baldwin and Erica Kiefer were invaluable committee members.
Our other sponsors were Lockton, our $7,500 Birdie Sponsor; Zurich, our $3,000 Eagle Sponsor; Stock Yards Bank; and CorVel, each a $1,000 Reception Sponsor; and Pepsi, which provided soft drinks, water, Gatorade, Frito-Lay snacks, and Grandma’s cookies. A very generous Shady Raysdonated $12,000in sunglasses for all the golfers’ tee gifts
We thank Tito’s Vodka for donating their special cocktail to keep our golfers hydrated. Our generous hole sponsors included Ankura, State Street, Cerity, Chubb, Lockton, Louisville Geek, Sedgwick, Wheels, Willis Tower Watson, and Zurich.
A new feature this year was the Cannonball Experience. Check out the photos below. So much fun!
And thanks to our staff. We couldn’t pull this off without their dedication.
Our winners for the day:
Closest to the Hole: Turner Deckart
Closest to the Line: Doug Voss
Longest Drive: Grant Restmeyer
Longest Putt Made: Max Hanke
Turtle Award: Jerry & Maxine Bizer’s Team
Ball Toss Winner: Andy Steinbach

Thanks again to everyone who participated. You are supporting important work.
We’ll see you again next year!
